Gift Subscription Terms

A gift subscription provides the recipient with one year of Ember Family plan access from the date of redemption, including all features available on the Family plan at that time. Features may change during the year as described in the Terms of Service.

After purchase, Ember sends the recipient an email containing a unique redemption link. The recipient redeems the gift by following that link and signing in to or creating an Ember account. The redemption link is not restricted to the recipient's email address — whoever follows the link may redeem it — so treat it like a gift card.

No expiration. Redemption links do not expire. The recipient may redeem at any time.

Already subscribed. If the recipient already has an active Ember subscription, the gift upgrades or extends their access to the Family annual plan for one year from the date of redemption.

One redemption per link. Each gift link may be redeemed once. Once redeemed, it cannot be transferred or re-used.

Gift subscriptions are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew. The recipient's gifted access expires one year after redemption. To continue using paid features after that date, the recipient must purchase their own subscription. Ember will not automatically charge the original gift purchaser or the recipient at the end of the gifted year.

Gift subscriptions are charged in full at the time of purchase through our payment processor, Stripe. The purchase price is non-refundable once the delivery email has been sent to the recipient, except where required by applicable law. If the delivery email fails or you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at privacy@emberstorytime.com within 14 days of purchase.

Gift subscriptions may not be combined with promotional codes, other discounts, or other offers unless expressly stated at checkout. They have no cash value and may not be resold.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue gift subscriptions at any time. Any changes will not affect gift links that have already been purchased and delivered.
